Seabrook History

Seabrook Texas Town is always growing with new ideas, new projects, and new ways to help people explore and appreciate our community. One project that is especially important to us is creating a stronger way to recognize and share the history of Seabrook, Texas.

We are working on a plan to identify historic places, important stories, meaningful events, longtime businesses, neighborhoods, waterfront history, community landmarks, and the people who helped shape Seabrook into the town it is today.

As this project develops, our goal is to bring more of that history directly into the Seabrook Texas Town Travel Map so residents and visitors can discover the stories behind the places they see throughout our community.
